West Pennant Hills Bowls Club

It has been very busy at West Pennant Hills Bowls Club in recent times with two club championship events being decided. Firstly, the club Classic Pairs was won by Bandula Aluwihare and Tinus Van Vuuren. Bandula and Tinus defeated Barry O’Rourke and Con Ganis 19 to 15 in an exciting final. Following this competition a Consistency competition was held.

The semi finals saw Michael Williams win bragging rights over his son Lachlan 125 to 112 and Kevin Tuckerman advancing to the final after edging out Geoff McIntosh on an extra end, following the scores being tied at 125 all. The final between Kevin and Michael was the close game that everyone expected with Kevin drawing away at the end to win 125 to 114. Congratulations to Bandula, Tinus and Kevin on their wins.
