Rotary Kenthurst

We are pleased to be getting back to some sort of normality after the shutdowns we have experienced due to COVID.

MEGA BARGAIN SALE
This was held on the weekend of 21st and 22nd May at the Kenthurst Uniting Church Hall. A great shout out to all the community who kindly donated everything to us and everyone who came and supported us on the weekend. We raised $5,532 and all of this will be donated to a Children’s Cancer Foundation. We will update you with photos when we deliver the cheque.

JOHN BENYON ROTARY PARLK PLAYGROUND
The new equipment in the play area is proving to be a great success with the children and we hope to have the new cubby house installed in the very near future (weather permitting). More equipment is planned as well as a cover and new tables and chairs around the park. Many people participated in the regeneration of the play area, Old Rotarians, New Rotarians and community members. A huge thank you to everyone that helped.

KENTHURST FAIR
Kenthurst Fair is under the Orange Blossom Festival of the Hills Shire and after being cancelled for the last two years we are looking forward to going ahead with it this year. It is our biggest Community fundraiser so keep a look out for dates and events.

INTERNATIONAL PROJECT IN PAPUA NEW GUINEA
Fund raising and plans are well underway for the Sepik River Dental Clinic Project. The Papua New Guinea Association of Australia (PNGAA) is holding a fund-raising lunch to raise funds for the project on 13th July at The Royal Motor Yacht Club, Toronto.
