Carmen Drive Community Pharmacy

At a recent Board meeting of the Rotary Club of West Pennant Hills and Cherrybrook, it was voted that recognition to reward businesses and their staff who remained open during the terrible months of the Covid Lockdown would be given.

President Rosemary Clarke and Vocational Director, Edwina Ruff were assisted by Sam Prithi Raja ( our young Rotaract member) whose help was much appreciated in presenting to shop owners/staff at Oakhill Village and Appletree Shops, Rotarian Douglas Lam visited Coonara Shops, Carmen Drive Shops, Bunnings at Dural and Thornleigh, also at Thompsons Corner, Anne Sharpe visited Plants Plus in Cumberland State Forest and Rotarian Cawas Sahukar assisted in presenting to the shop owners and staff at Cherrybrook Shopping Centre.

These small business’s are quite often forgotten when it comes to any kind of Recognition and Appreciation, and so the club has awarded COVID CERTIFICATE’s of RECOGNITION and APPRECIATION to some 100 businesses owners and staff at their respective places of work for putting themselves on the front line to bravely work each day at the coalface to serve their Community during the Covid 19 lockdown between March 31 and May 15th 2020.

WE THANK YOU and
WE SALUTE YOU!

If you feel you would like to be part of worthwhile causes such as this that Rotary are involved in, please contact Rosemary Clarke on 0439 899 65 to find out more or to visit one of our Monday night Zoom meetings, soon to be face to face again.
