Inala Golf Day – Castle Hill Country Club Tuesday 25th May 2021

Thanks to loyal supporters and generous community involvement the Inala Golf Day was a great success and raised $48,000 to support individuals living with disabilities.

It was a stunning autumn day for the 26th annual Inala Golf day held on Tuesday 25th May. 125 keen golfers set out on the beautifully prepared course at Castle Hill Country Club for the 18 holes Ambrose competition and were treated to blue skies and warm sunshine for the day.

Many local businesses and community groups supported this year’s event including Jennmar Australia, Mobile Fleet Services, H&N Khamis, Doctor V, Good Neighbour Plumbing, Hills District Farm Equipment, Icon Homes, Jord International, Merit Homes, NASR Group, Nathan’s Smash Repairs, People One, Smith & Sons, Turrell Building Services and West Pennant Hills Sports Club, Liveware Solutions, Coonara Chemist, George’s Fine Meats and Martelli’s Fruit Market.

Attendees were treated to a delicious dinner at the club and a special tribute was made to Board Member Richard Gibb AM, who has been a driving force behind the Inala Golf Days for 26 years, helping raise over $800,000 for various Inala projects in that time. Inala would like to extend a special thank you to the families and local businesses for your donation of the raffle prizes.

The funds raised from the Inala Golf Day will be directed towards the Inala Accommodation Appeal which aims to raise $4.5 million to build two purpose-designed homes in the Hills District. This appeal aims to give more individuals living with disability the opportunity to create a life of their own, to live in a home of their own, and develop the life skills and confidence which flows from this.
