CWA Galston catered a high tea for 40 with the usual high tea delights, plus a few additions at the birthday girl’s request – lemon meringue pie; that poignant lemon sharpness against billowy marshmallow clouds – an absolute standout, cuter than cute heart shaped jam drops, the poshest sausage roles you ever did see (or taste), a heavenly vanilla slice, an array of hand cut sandwiches, and the prettiest coconut ice going.
Being a member certainly has its perks; the CWA ladies are like fairy godmothers, only better! Known for legendary catering, beautiful needle work, a sweet but strong disposition, and now, the best high tea in town!
