Local artist Val Wright will exhibit her watercolour paintings in her Galston studio from Friday the 20th – Thursday the 26th of November 2020. Original paintings, framed or mounted and backed, together with prints and a range of greetings cards, will be for sale. Prices for unframed originals from $75, prints from $25, cards 3 for $10.
Val paints watercolours in a loose style, chiefly of animals, birds and still life. After travelling extensively in the outback last year she has been inspired by Australian animals and birds in particular. She has exhibited many times before moving to Australia in 2013 and more recently in the Artisans Market at the Coal Loader in Waverton. Val has also painted numerous animal portrait commissions in which she specialises.
Social distancing will be observed and the wearing of masks is recommended.
