On the 17th April a group of 40 headed south by coach to the Thurgoona Country Resort in Albury for a six day break.
Using this as our base we had lovely day trips to many towns and attractions including Beechworth, the Burke Museum, Humming Gardens, Mt Beauty, Bright ,Red Stag Deer Farm, and Corowa.
Whilst in Glenrowan we visited the animated “Last Stand of Ned Kelly” at the Glenrowan Experience which was excellent. Following that we stepped back in time at Swanpool and visited the old cinema where we lunched and then saw the silent movie “Safety Last” starring Harold Lloyd. It was very funny.
Coach trips like this are very popular with our next Mystery day trip scheduled for June.
Our club still has vacancies and look forward to welcoming you especially if you enjoy outings, or activities like walking, golf, or snooker.
