Small Business Month Wrap Up

With March now concluded Small Business Month wraps up.

On Wednesday 23 rd March our Business Chamber held “Rebuild, Recharge and Refresh Event at the Glenorie RSL.

The theme was to Rebuild, Recharge and Refresh our local businesses and help these businesses bounce back from the pandemic.

We also covered other issues across our region and our state over the past year.

As our businesses begin the task of rebuilding many questions begin to come to the surface like “will I be able to deliver the same offerings in the year ahead” and “what are the changes in costs and availability in my current supply chain that are different to a year ago.”

These are big issues that small businesses are facing and it will put pressure on pricing, labour and skills costs.

We need a sustainable and vibrant local business community so when you see a small business raising their prices in the coming months it’s probably not to make more money, its just to stay open and continue to serve their customers.

So where possible please consider shopping local as they need our support to get through this.
