Rotary Club Activities: Two students from our sister club in Coonabarabran attended ‘The Science Experience’, a program where ‘science meets fun’ at Macquarie University held 4th-6th October.
It was a wonderful experience for the students, who did experiments, attended site visits and heard about careers in science, technology and engineering. The visitors were hosted by members of our Club.
The Club’s annual Garage Sale on 30th September was a great success, raising over $8,000 with proceeds going to Domestic and Family Violence charities and other Rotary charities.
A ‘Colours Run’ was held at West Pennant Hills Public School on 12th October. Our Club members cooked a sausage sizzle for the 630 participants!
The Club provided a Referendum BBQ and Cake stall at West Pennant Hills Public School on 14th October, and a BQ at Bunnings Castle Hill on 28th October.
