Recently the Combined Probus Club of Cherrybrook celebrated its 23rd Birthday.
Entertainer Dianna Hammond sang for us and spoke about her remarkable career across many aspects of the entertainment industry. Combined with a birthday cake the celebration was wonderful and was followed by our usual lunch at West Pennant Hills Sports Club attended by 70 members.
This month we also shared dinner delights at the Inflames Lebanese Restaurant, a great social drive from Dural to Terry Hills, Happy Hour at Cherrybrook with delicious food, great beverages and good conversation, the Moulin Rouge Theatre outing, an energetic morning of Putt Putt Golf at Thornleigh followed by a cheery lunch in their café and a lovely harbourside walk through Woolwich followed by lunch at the Woolwich Pier Hotel. These events complemented our regular activities of craft, book club, cards, games, golf, bowls and investment group.
Over the past few months we have been delighted to welcome 15 new members so if you are an able bodied, semi-retired or retired couple and have promised yourselves to get out, meet new people and have new experiences the Combined Probus Club of Cherrybrook could also be for you.
