Galston High School is holding its annual Open Day on Wednesday, 10 March, welcoming prospective parents, carers and students to experience a small community with big opportunity.
Student leaders will take the public on a tour of the school, giving them the opportunity to see Galston High school in action and ask questions.
“It really is the best way to get a feel for what we have to offer,” said George Stepanovich, current school captain. “We are proud of the community we have at Galston High School, the quality of learning and the opportunities we have on offer.” Over the course of the school tour, prospective parents, carers and students will have the opportunity to learn about the schools exceptional HSC achievements; the Year 7 High Potential program; the wide curriculum offered that caters to both academic and vocational pathways; student leadership, sporting, agricultural and extracurricular opportunities; Year 7 orientation camp; the Duke of Edinburgh Scheme and the 2022 scholarships available for current Year 6 students.
Open Day will run between 9.30 to midday. Open Day will be a Covid-safe event with all mandatory safety measures in place. More information can be found on the school’s website.
