Visiting “The Dish” radio telescope at Parkes in central-west NSW.

The Oakhill-Dural Probus Club meeting in the Cherrybrook Uniting Church Hall on the second Tuesday of the month at 9:30 for 9:45am.

We have some vacancies for new members at the moment and so retirees and semi-retirees are welcome to visit a meeting at any time and, if you like, join us for lunch afterwards at the West Pennant Hills Sports club down the road.

We have about 180 members and 28 different activity groups, from bushwalking to theatre, monthly outings, gardening, croquet, Mahjong, book club to bike riding and more.

A group from our ‘Caravan and Cabins’ group has just come back from a very enjoyable few days in Parkes, and another group enjoyed a bus trip to Broken Hill.

We are organising a trip to Mauritius next August/September.

Probus provides a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and enjoy the fun and friendship of our club. We’d love to see you!

For more information, please contact our membership officer Richard at [email protected] or give President Rochelle a call on 0417 041 822.
