Kenthurst Probus Club held its monthly meeting on Monday the 11th of June. The Club met as usual at the Kenthurst Uniting Church building on the corner of Junes Road, Kenthurst.
The Club was addressed by Darien Tomassello, an executive of Careflight, which he explained is a Not-for Profit Registered Charity which provides professional aerial transport for persons in need of medical assistance, in New South Wales and the Northern Territory: a worthy cause always in need of support. His talk was very well received. In keeping with an aerial theme, the Club’s next meeting will welcome David Short to talk on the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Kenthurst Probus Club Meeting 2024
Our Club keeps active with regular walks, movie days, town hall concerts, and theatre parties. Members will shortly visit the Sydney Art Gallery to see the Archibald Prize Exhibition, and a tour to the Central West has been booked for the spring.
Our Club was pleased to welcome several guests for their second visit: there is a permanent open invitation for anyone to come along and experience the hospitality.
