Galston Swim Club

October has been an exciting month for our squads with competitions getting back underway. Our swimmers have been training hard through the school holidays to give their best at the swim meets.

We had our first major competition back at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre, the NSW Long Course Qualifying Meet. We had eight representatives from Galston Swim Club, who all swam incredibly well.

Everyone adapted to the new arrangements with COVID safe practices being put in place to ensure a safe meet for everyone.

It was a fantastic weekend, and our coach Adrian Rossi was suitably impressed with the outcome with many personal best times. Some swimmers also achieved NSW Metropolitan qualification times and even a few NSW State qualifying times. An outstanding weekend of swimming!

We are now looking ahead to the next swim meet, which is being run as the magazine goes to print—more details to follow.

If you’re interested in joining our friendly, community-run competitive swim club which delivers excellent results, please contact us via email at [email protected] and book a tryout session with our fantastic head coach.
