Hawkesbury residents and organisations have a month to apply for funding from the Council. Round Three of the 2025/26 Community Sponsorship Program is currently accepting applications from May 1, 2026, to May 31, 2026. This gives you four weeks to prepare your application.
Three separate funding streams are on offer. The first, Resilient Hawkesbury, is aimed squarely at community organisations running anything from support programs to public events — eligible groups can apply for grants of up to $3,000.
The second stream covers individual athletes or cultural performers who’ve been selected to represent the Hawkesbury at the state, national, or international level; they can receive $150, or their team can receive up to $750 if they travel as a group of five or more.
The third category is more practical — not-for-profit groups that simply need somewhere to hold their activities can apply for a 50 per cent discount on hiring a Council or community facility, up to a $750 cap.
Council is encouraging groups to determine which category best suits their situation and to apply before 31 May 2026.
