Students and teachers in Baulkham Hills will benefit from over $10.2 million in capital assistance to upgrade its facilities under the NSW Government’s 2020/21 Building Grants Assistance Scheme.
The details and grants for each of the projects are as follows:
Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School, awarded $2,248,921 for the demolition of obsolete areas and the construction of three general learning areas, six withdrawal spaces, student amenities and walkways, as well as the refurbishment of existing classrooms and walkways;
St Gabriel’s School, awarded $3,000,000 for the construction of a multipurpose school hall area; and,
Gilroy Catholic College, awarded $5,022,311 for the demolition of obsolete areas and the construction of new general and specialised learning areas, including science laboratories, technology workshops, student amenities and walkways.
BUSINESS REGISTRATIONS OPEN FOR DINE & DISCOVER NSW
Eligible businesses in Baulkham Hills can now register to take part in the NSW Government’s major economic stimulus program, Dine & Discover NSW.
Service NSW is launching a specialised app for participating businesses, so they scan and track voucher usage over the life of the program. After applying online, NSW businesses will be able to track the progress of the application through their MyServiceNSW Business Profile. Business owners will then receive a step-by-step process on how to get ready.
The program will be rolled out in a few steps to ensure a seamless customer experience. The findings from the pilots will inform the statewide rollout, expected to commence in March, and will run until Wednesday, 30 June 2021.
