Declutter your pre-loved items, while looking for a bargain, at the Berowra Car Boot Market and Clothing Swap on Sunday 25 June.
Council is encouraging locals to give their unwanted items a new lease of life. Some items on offer include toys, furniture, books, sporting equipment and household gadgets.
Mayor Philip Ruddock has called on the local community to get involved in the fun-filled initiative and by doing so, playing a part in helping conserve Hornsby Shire’s environment.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for residents to come together, whether buying or selling, to experience the fun of car boot markets,” Mayor Ruddock said.
Berowra Car Boot Market will run from 9am-1pm at the Berowra Community Centre. The clothing swap will run from 10am-12pm. Stall holders are able to register for free, on the Hornsby Shire Council website. Limited parking is available.
Second Hand Hornsby aligns with Council’s Waste Matters Strategy and is part of several initiatives to assist Council achieve its goal of diverting 80 per cent of community waste from landfill by 2030.
