Autumn Harvest Festival at Rouse Hill Estate

On Sunday 15 May, you can meet some of Greater Sydney’s finest artisan producers and makers and be inspired by the food history of Rouse Hill Estate as you taste, browse and shop from a handpicked selection of products including jams and relishes, teas, cured meats, artisan bread, cheeses and more.

Discover the story behind your food as you listen to a range of fascinating talks and watch live food demonstrations hosted by Barbara Sweeney, founder of the Food and Words Writers’ Festival, and take part in cooking workshops and food-focused tours.

Kids’ activities include butter making, craft activities inspired by Sydney Living Museums’ collection as well as the opportunity to help our farmer Gareth, feed the cows.

Explore the property and hear the stories that reveal the life of the estate over 160 years or simply bring a picnic rug and enjoy the picturesque setting with a delicious spread from our ready-to-eat food vendors.
