Glenorie Probus Club Activities

In November Glenorie Probus Club had an informative to Cockatoo Island in which the members saw and learnt a lot about the historic past of this site. The island has contributed in many ways to the development of Sydney and all who were there had a very worthwhile day.

The Club finished the year 2023 with a Christmas Lunch at Glenorie RSL that was a thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.

Not only was there a Trivia Quiz, singing and an excellent meal but there was a visit from Santa much to the delight of the attendees many of whom when asked what they wanted for Christmas avoided his question on whether they had been naughty or nice throughout the year.

The room had been decorated by his two elves prior to the lunch which added to the atmosphere and contributed to all having a great lunch.

The Club is preparing for another active year with many activities planned starting with a visit to Warragamba Dam first item. In March we will follow with a visit the Ramses exhibition at the Australian Museum.

2024 promises to be another great year for the Club.

The Club meets on the at 11.00am on the 4th Wednesday of the month at Glenorie RSL and new members are welcome.
