You can watch some of the brightest baseball players from the Hills, Hawkesbury and around Australia showcase their talents and skills at the Blacktown International Sports Park from January 7-15.
The U16 and U18 Youth Championships are one of the leading events in BA’s calendar and are a pathway for Australian players to make the big time.
One of the biggest incentives here will be the presence of talent scouts from several Major League Baseball (MLB) clubs in the USA.
“State pride and passion is on the line, as the best U16 and U18 baseball players from across Australia head to Sydney for the marquee event over seven days,” BA said. “Upwards of 15 different MLB teams will have a presence at the event, looking to uncover talent.
“It’s a pathway all of Australia’s best players have competed in – from past MLB stars like Graeme Lloyd, to current Big Leaguers like Curtis Mead, to recent minor league signings like Max Durrington or Ali Tanner – the country’s top talent will be here.”
