Rotary Club Of Kenthurst

The Rotary Club of Kenthurst held a very successful BBQ at Bunnings Dural on Sunday 27th August. Our next cook up of the best sausages sandwiches in The Hills, will be at same venue on Saturday 30th September. Come along and give them a go!

KENTHURST ROTARY SPONSORS
As a not-for-profit organisation, The Rotary Club of Kenthurst relies on donations to help fund our community functions and John Benyon Rotary Park. Without sponsors, none of the hard work carried out by Rotarians would be possible. Our club would like to thank our many sponsors for their continued support. A special shout out to our major sponsor, Rance Property who presented our president with a generous donation to assist with the Kenthurst Fair.

KENTHURST COMMUNITY FAIR – THE BEST EVER!
The KENTHURST FAMILY FAIR, as part of the Hills Shire Council Orange Blossom Festival was held on Sunday 10th September. This is the major fundraiser for Kenthurst Rotary each year, and this one did not disappoint. An estimated 5,000 people attended throughout the day, taking advantage of the perfect weather. The crowd was enthusiastic, and the parade was a smash hit with onlookers.

A wide variety of market and food stalls, rides and entertainment meant there was something for everyone. There were so many smiling faces, which was wonderful to see. Our Rotarians were very tired by the end of a long day, but it was truly worth it to provide such a fabulous day for our local community. Thanks to all that came along. Spread the word for next year. The next major function for the club will be Carols in the Park early December. More details available soon.

SEPIK RIVER, DENTAL CLINIC PROJECT – SPREAD SMILES IN PNG
The Rotary Club of Kenthurst international project – the Sepik Dental Clinic in Korogu Village, PNG needs funding and the support of dentists from across the world to provide life-changing services.

Korogu Village is in a remote region with a subsistence economy, limited medical facilities and no access to dental services. The clinic will serve an estimated 100,000 people living inland and along the Sepik River, and once established, will rely on volunteer dentists working in association with the project partner, NGO Project Sepik, to provide dental treatment and education on dental hygiene.

As the Clinic is due for completion next year, we invite you to help make this a reality by donating funds via our GoFundMe page: https://gofund.me/e49f7fbc
