After huge amounts of planning and excitement about the July School holidays, Covid once again threw a curveball and shut down all plans at The Centre.
All the Inflatable World equipment arrived and was set up just before restrictions kicked off. A few lucky staff members got to test it out and can assure you that it’s going to be great fun! Once cleared to open, it will be available every weekend during school term plus school holidays.
The Centre Café has been able to stay open for take away during shut down and has added a healthy pick-up dinner pack menu to ease the burden for people stuck at home. With a different meal available each day of the week, everyone has been loving the delicious food and generous portions, call to order 8989 0030.
Also in the café, a new kid’s playground is being installed next to the outdoor dining area. Once open, the café will be even more enticing to young families and mother’s groups, as the kids can play in the fully fenced playground while the parents enjoy a cup of coffee and the bushland views.
Planning is in full swing for the Futsal and Netball Summer Comps for all ages, starting up in September. Of particular note is the brand new women’s Futsal comp on Wednesday morning – with a free child minding! (Along with the already popular Tuesday and Wednesday morning ladies Netball)
Registration for Summer Comp and information about re-opening times can be found at thecentredural.org.au or call 8989 0030.
