
Spring Festival has arrived, making it the perfect time to celebrate fresh, local produce – and what better way to enjoy it than with friends and family by the Hawkesbury river.
‘A Taste of Wisemans’ returns to Wisemans Ferry Park on Sunday, September 28, from 10 am to 3 pm, celebrating the region’s best food, wine and produce from local businesses in the rural north of The Hills Shire.
An integral part of the Orange Blossom Festival, this much-loved event showcases some of the best local producers, distillers, winemakers and artisans. Visitors can relax at picnic tables and hay bales, explore artisan stalls and enjoy a day full of festive fervour and entertainment.

Visitors will be spoilt for choice with offerings from over 20 local businesses, including Finders Distillery, Karu Distillery, Esker Beer Co, Moorebank Vineyard, and Blue Mountains Liquor Co. For the food lovers, there are an array of options – Crosdales BBQ’s American-style smoked meats, Popi’s Souvla’s Greek street food, Frankie’s Food Truck hotdogs and fries, Cholito Empanadas, and sweet treats from Yiayia’s Honey Balls and Tea-riffic Bubble Tea among others.
The event will also feature live acoustic music, roving performers and a photo booth for capturing memories. For families, there’ll be free activities including face painting, circus workshops and craft stations, ensuring kids of all ages can have fun at the outdoor event.
Visitors can also meet members of the local emergency services, including the Rural Fire Service, who will be on site to share important fire safety messages with the community. So come along, join the fun, and soak up the spring spirit by the Hawkesbury River.
