Sydney 000 Expo Features 30+ Exhibitors this September

The Sydney 000 Expo is coming back to Castle Hill Showground on Sunday 13th September 2026, running from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and it’s shaping up as one of the more substantial community days on the local calendar this spring.

Long-time visitors might know the event by its old name, Emergency Expo. This year it’s been rebranded as the Sydney 000 Expo, a change organisers say better captures what the day is really about, celebrating the triple zero services that answer the call when the community needs them most.

Behind the scenes, the team is chasing more than 30 exhibitors for 2026, along with a significantly bigger aviation presence and more live demonstrations and hands-on activities than previous years.

Across the showground, visitors can expect to find emergency vehicles parked up for close inspection, rescue equipment on display, and a steady run of live demonstrations covering how crews respond to storms, house fires, medical emergencies and road accidents.

It’s less a static display and more a working conversation, with frontline personnel and volunteers on hand throughout the day to chat with visitors and answer whatever’s on their mind about the job.

Families with younger kids will want to make time for the Kids’ Stamp Rally, a free activity where children collect stamps by visiting participating agencies and completing small learning tasks along the way, with a chance to win a prize for a completed card. The game card can be downloaded from the expo website once it’s released in September, so you can bring it along on the day.

Aviation fans in particular should keep an eye out, with helicopters and specialist aerial support tipped to be a major feature this year, running alongside demonstrations from fire, rescue, medical, police and support agencies.

For anyone weighing up a career change, or a young person curious about where their interests might lead, several agencies will also be showcasing employment and volunteering pathways across areas including emergency response, aviation, engineering, logistics, communications and healthcare.

The Sydney 000 Expo is free to attend, with tickets available at events.humanitix.com/000expo-com-au. Further updates on exhibitors and activities will be shared on the official Sydney 000 Expo Facebook page as the date approaches.
