Glenhaven Social Wellness Centre: Groups of wonderful local seniors join us each week for social connection and to enjoy activities, group discussions, craft, dancing and music, cognitive activities, games and gentle exercise.
Our centre also provides meaningful engagement for those with dementia, combining mental, social, and physical activities. We work closely with the Dementia Advisory Services to offer a seven week “Making A Difference” program to help support clients living with mild dementia and to assist with prevention.
Our services can be accessed via government support, so the client only pays $25 for the day, and this includes a home cooked hot lunch and dessert.
We can also provide transport in many cases, depending on location. Anyone interested is welcome to join us for a free trial day!
