Senior School Tutoring Initiative

At Pacific Hills Christian School, our community is grounded in Christ’s love—and that love is made visible through the kindness our students show one another.  A shining example is the initiative that Pacific Hills Senior School students have taken up, where they voluntarily tutor younger or fellow students.

This special initiative reflects both humility and servant leadership. It’s more than academic help; it’s seeing others as God sees them—valuable, capable, and worthy of our time.

Each tutoring session becomes an opportunity to live out Philippians 2:4: “Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.”

In a culture that often prizes personal achievement, this initiative models something greater: cooperation, compassion, and community. Through it, students are building confidence on both sides of the learning relationship and strengthening bonds across year levels.

It’s a powerful reminder that service, especially through kindness, is one of the most meaningful ways we can reflect Christ in our daily lives.
