Round Corner Dural Probus Club

At Round Corner Dural Probus Club, We recently enjoyed a day trip to the Central Coast Town of Davistown. Our journey began at Hornsby Station where we boarded the train to Woy Woy. Members chatted and enjoyed the view of the Hawkesbury River.

Following a coffee in Woy Woy, we hopped on the ferry for a short and enjoyable ride, admiring the many houses along the shores of Brisbane Water. At the Davistown Ferry terminal the RSL club bus was waiting to take us to the RSL where we enjoyed a lovely meal.  After a relaxing afternoon, we boarded the ferry for our return home, reflecting on a weather-perfect wonderful day.

At our Probus meeting, we welcomed a specialist representative from Service NSW as our guest speaker. This interesting presentation provided valuable insights on navigating the Service NSW website, giving us tips on how to find discounts and entitlements available to members.

In addition to discussing various benefits, the speaker emphasized the importance of protecting personal information online. We were offered practical advice on safe browsing practices and how to ensure our identities remain secure while accessing government services.

Our club offers many social activities each month.  Meetings are at the Galston Club on the 2nd Monday of the month at 10am.  New members are most welcome. Enquires contact Lei Farrar on 0412 585 741.
