At the annual Penno High Carnival on 24 June, Club members and partners ran a BBQ and served 610 meals. The collaboration with Penno High was invaluable, plus meeting other groups and promoting our brand to the community is good marketing.
On 30 June the Club held its change over dinner at Springfield House, Dural and the new Board was inducted. 77 people attended the event from District, our Club, other local Clubs, Local Councils, Cherrybrook Uniting Church and Coonabarabran Rotary Club. Our incoming President, Neville Hansen, rose to the challenge and wore his kilt for the ‘Raising the Kilt’ fundraiser which to date has raised over $2,400 with proceeds going to ‘End Polio Now’.

BBQ at Bunnings Castle Hill on 12 August.
The Club will be hosting an incoming Exchange Student from Finland starting at the end of July 2023 and sponsoring an outgoing Exchange student in early 2024. Both are for 12 months. The Club is very excited about these two appointments.
