New Project – Making a difference in the Hills
Kenthurst Rotary Club is looking to alleviate human suffering in our community by gathering volunteers and generous donors to provide food and drink for the homeless and disadvantaged in The Hills Shire. Guest Speakers
We were privileged to have Martha Jabour OAM as our July guest speaker. Martha spoke about her dedication to her work at Homicide Victims Support Group. She was instrumental in a project that came to fruition with the opening of Grace’s Place in Doonside. Martha is an inspiration to us all.
Our August presentation was by Search Dogs Sydney. Chris and Adele D’Arcy gave a fabulous presentation into the rewarding and sometimes heartbreaking rescues their canine friends assist with. Our club donated $1000 to ensure their services can continue to assist in times of need.
