The Bromeliad Society of Australia Inc will hold their next meeting at the Federation Pavilion, Castle Hill Showground on Saturday, 10th May with plant sales to the public from 10am and the meeting commencing at 12noon.
Guest speaker will be Robyn Bible, from the Australian Geranium Society and she will speak about the different varieties of geraniums and pelargoniums, she will also bring along a large selection of examples.
Robyn will explain about their growing conditions, where best to use the various types including a demonstration on how to prune and propagate. Robyn will also have several plants available for purchase.
She has specialised in the growing of geraniums and pelargoniums for more than 50 years and will happily share her immense knowledge with the BSA members and guests.
There will also be our regular meeting activities such as competitions, Raffle, Show & Tell, and a more recent activity called just “Show” for people who would just like to share a plant with others without it being critically judged or discussed.
