Probus Ponderings – Bet You Can Find a Good Time Here

The Wintry weather proved no deterrent for the Combined Probus Club of Cherrybrook with members embracing both day and night outings. Evening events included a chilly but picturesque cruise to enjoy the Vivid Light Festival followed by dinner in the city and the first of a series of club shows, ‘A Little Night Music’ to be followed soon by ‘Killer Queen’. A much anticipated event was our day at the races. Held again at Wyong, the day made fortunes (most unlikely), lost fortunes (more likely) and proved great fun (guaranteed). Once again participation was high as members dressed to the nines. A wonderful walk around Five Dock Bay in beautiful weather added to the pleasure of the month.

A June highlight was welcoming eight new members to the club to share the fun.

In July regular monthly pastimes will be supplemented with ten pin bowling, tennis, an overnight stay for Christmas in July and theatre outings providing something for everyone.

If you are an able bodied, semi-retired or retired couple and have promised yourselves to get out, meet new people and have new experiences the Combined Probus Club of Cherrybrook could be for you.

Our meetings are held at the Cherrybrook Community and Cultural Centre on the first Thursday of each month. For up to date information please contact Ross on 0411104863. We look forward to warmly welcoming you to our Probus Club to share the good times.
