May brought great diversity in the events enjoyed by the members of the Combined Probus Club of Cherrybrook.
Activities included revisiting Ten Pin Bowling, introducing Men’s and Women’s tennis, a theatre outing to the highly entertaining Musical 9 to 5, a great social drive to the sunny Central Coast with a seaside lunch at Avoca and a visit on a beautiful day to the Sydney Aquarium followed by lunch overlooking a sparkling Darling Harbour.
Twenty-four dedicated and perhaps slightly crazy members also took part in a rather rainy walk around South Head followed by lunch at Watson’s Bay. Gold stars for commitment! However activities weren’t restricted to the daylight hours with the ‘I Don’t Want to Cook Tonight’ fans sharing a delicious dinner at local Italian Restaurant, Sedici. It was fabulous to share many of these outings with potential new members.
As in every month, regular pastimes of golf, bowls, craft, book club and investment group provided opportunities for fun, fellowship and fitness. If you are an able bodied, semi-retired or retired couple and have promised yourselves to get out, meet new people and have new experiences the Combined Probus Club of Cherrybrook could be for you.
Our meetings are held at the Cherrybrook Community and Cultural Centre on the first Thursday of each month.
