Our Probus Club guest speaker for August was Peter Kahn who Guided us through the history of trams in Sydney. His film brought back many memories from yesteryear.
The walkers completed a guided tour of the Female Orphan School and associated historic buildings which concluded with lunch at the Boiler House.
Then we travelled by coach to Clarence to join the Zig Zag Railway for a nostalgic trip to Lithgow and return. Then reboarding the coach for our luncheon stop at Leura. It was a wonderful day.
Our activity groups continue to be well patronised especially the bare foot bowls.
