Combined Probus Club Members Enjoy Mauritius Tour
In the past month members of the Combined Probus Club of Cherrybrook have enjoyed local and international experiences. We recently welcomed back travellers who enjoyed a fabulous trip to Mauritius which provided cultural interactions, wonderful scenery and well received relaxation.
On the home front, an excursion to ANSTO at Lucas Heights to learn about the workings of Australia’s only nuclear reactor was truly fascinating. Regular activities of tennis, bowls and golf have all featured in our calendar as well as a lovely walk around Parramatta Park in perfect weather and dining out at Enzo’s Cucina in Dural with no cooking or washing up!
Our other interest groups continue to cater for the varied passions of members including craft, book and Money Matters groups, cards and games.
Upcoming events include Ten Pin bowling, social drive and happy hour gatherings and theatre parties to Sunset Boulevard, Sister Act, a local production of Ghost Train and visits to two local gems, Fagan Park and Boongala Gardens.
If you are active retirees or even semi-retired and have promised yourselves to get out, meet new people and have new experiences the Combined Probus Club of Cherrybrook could be for you. Our meetings are held at the Cherrybrook Community and Cultural Centre on the first Thursday of each month.
