Welcome to Ear Studio, your independent, local audiology competency centre. The practice opened in May 2019, 6 months before the pandemic hit. Since then, the world has been turned upside down in many ways. The reason for us opening the clinic was because of a genuine passion for hearing, and that has since expanded to many other services. Ear Studio aims to be a provider that does not only sell hearing aids, but also offers all sorts of other solutions around hearing and balance.
Since opening, we have expanded to a highly skilled and culturally diverse team of seven people. Our clinicians hold tertiary degrees in Audiology, ranging from Masters and PhD, and speak a range of languages including German, Arabic, and Italian. We offer services including hearing assessment, hearing rehabilitation, ear wax removal, falls risk assessment, balance and dizziness assessment and tinnitus management – while also working with patients who require implantable devices such as cochlear implants.
Our team at Ear Studio takes immense pride in being one of only 15% of small clinics not owned by a large hearing aid manufacturer. This means we do not focus on particular products or sales goals.
We can therefore concentrate on the actual rehabilitation factor; this is what gives our patients a significant benefit while on their individual journey. It is not just about the hearing device but is also about the time we spend with the client and the rehabilitation aspect of treatment. The programming of the device is conducted carefully and with a great level of skill to ensure that patients are pleased with the outcome and the device works for them.
We have been not only busy expanding our team but also expanding our clinic by completely modernising and growing our space to over 170sqm. We have a wonderful team who are incredibly passionate about giving our clients the best service possible. We see patients from diverse cultural backgrounds, of all ages and life stages. We value our patients, and we recognise that each person has their own experience and individual needs. We always welcome a friendly chat and constantly strive to make your experience with us second to none.
We have developed a phone or tablet application as well as a rehabilitation guide to help patients on their journey. The ears and brain work together in a complex fashion. With our rehabilitation program our patients can be sure that they are getting the best possible results for their individual needs.
