Painting Demonstration Saturday 2.00pm June 7th Amanda Doctor “Drawing With Perspective”
In this demo Amanda will show you how to find the horizon line, how to do 1/2/3pt perspective and the different ways of illustrating aerial perspective with colour. This will greatly assist when you come to do Urban Sketching in pen and watercolour washes.
To understand perspective, you have to start with the horizon line, which is not just a line dividing earth from sky, it is the foundation from and to which everything is either physically or visually connected, making the objects we draw on a flat surface actually have depth and dimension.
This demonstration will be held on Saturday at 2.00pm and visitors are welcome to join with the Castle Hill Art Society at Castle Glen Community Centre, 157 Ridgecrop Drive, Castle Hill.
