Residents of the Castle Hill electorate are encouraged to nominate outstanding seniors in their community, as nominations for the 2025 NSW Seniors Festival Local Achievement Awards are now open.
The 2025 NSW Seniors Festival and the Local Achievement Awards provide a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the invaluable contributions seniors make to their communities.
If you know a senior who works tirelessly to make our community a better place—whether through volunteering, innovative ideas, or simply by being a pillar of support to family and friends—this is your chance to ensure their efforts are acknowledged.
We are incredibly fortunate to have so many seniors in Castle Hill who give generously of their time, energy, and dedication. By celebrating the contributions of our local seniors, we challenge ageism, honour their efforts, and empower them to overcome social stigma.
Nominations for this esteemed awards program, one of many initiatives from the NSW Government to promote active, healthy, and happy lives for seniors will close soon.
Winners of the Local Achievement Awards will be announced during the 2025 NSW Seniors Festival, which runs from 3rd–16th March, as part of an exciting schedule of events across the state.
