New Year, New Offerings At The Centre

The Centre in Dural has welcomed the new year with a bang with a brand new floor! The installation went smoothly, and the floor is gorgeous to play on. With new netball and futsal comps starting now, as well as the winter season kicking off at the end of March, there are lots of choices to join in. If you want to check it out, an open day will be held on the 20th March.

In January, netball and futsal holiday clinics saw lots of energetic kids at The Centre kicking, running, throwing and jumping their way through the morning. These clinics will also run a weekly version on Wednesday afternoons, for kids looking to boost their skills.

A new café manager is joining the team in February, so keep an eye out for exciting new menu offerings at The Centre Café. The café will also be open longer hours, so you can pop by for coffee or a bite to eat anytime during the week.

The finishing touches are also being made on “The Health Shed”, an initiative of our Dural Men’s Shed. It will be a place for healthy exercise, with a focus on rehab, both preventative and post hospitalisations. Partnering with a local experienced exercise physiologist, the shed will be available to Men’s Shed members as well as the wider community.

“Playtime” for young kids & carers and “Chicago” for youth kids are also kicking back off in February.
