The mass vaccination centre at Sydney Olympic Park has opened. People aged 40-49 are invited to register their interest in receiving the Pfizer vaccine by visiting www.nsw.gov.au and will be contacted when a booking is available.
People aged over 50 can book their AstraZeneca jab at the mass vaccination centre by visiting covid-vaccine.healthdirect.gov.au/eligibility, if they’re unable to obtain the vaccination from their GP.
NEW AUDIT PROGRAM FOR CROOKED CERTIFIERS
The NSW Government has launched a data-led audit regime to zero in on the worst players in the industry and audit an additional 100 to 150 buildings every six months. If an audit identifies potentially defective or non-compliant building work we will step in immediately to issue rectification or stop work orders to protect consumers before they move in. This new initiative will complement the occupation certificate audits and is a big step towards cleaning up the industry.
