Rotary Club of West Pennant Hills & Cherrybrook

On 13th May we held our Pride of Workmanship awards at The Vicar, Dural. The award encourages pride of workmanship by providing employers with the opportunity, through Rotary, of recognising and acknowledging the efforts and contributions of an employee who consistently achieves an overall high personal standard and work performance.

David Firth, District Chair and founder of Pride of Workmanship presented three worthy recipients, Michelle Friery, Lindon Paleracio and Luke McLeod, with awards.

On Saturday 18th May and Sunday 9th June we held two very successful BBQs at Bunnings Castle Hill with proceeds going to Domestic and Family Violence Charities and other Rotary charities. Our next BBQ is on Saturday 6th July.

Club members visited our Sister Club, The Rotary Club of Coonabarabran, to help run the canteen in the Showgrounds for the 32nd Equestrian Expo, from 31st May to 4th June. This is the largest equestrian event in Australia, involving a lot of hard work and fun.

On Friday 21st June the Club held its change over dinner to induct our new Board, at Springfield House, Dural.
