Pacific Hills Christian School student Cassie Ptolemy has achieved an amazing result in this year’s Lion’s Club Youth of the Year Award.
Competing at the State Level held in Tamworth in April, Cassie performed brilliantly across the varied components being judged holding high marks for each section and was awarded winner of the public speaking portion of the competition!
Mrs Baldry, one of the English teachers at Pacific Hills, writes “Cassie was able to speak about her fundraising initiative for foster kids, leaning sign language and her busy role as school captain, amongst other things.
Her heart to serve others and her strong ability in public speaking (and plain hard work) have helped her achieve so well with this award.”
The School is immensely proud of all that Cassie has achieved and the use of her talents and giftings to aid and assist others in both her local and School communities.
