Kenthurst Retirement Activities Club

Kenthurst Retirement Activities Club, Glenhaven Probus, meets on the second Tuesday of each month at Castle Hill Bowling Club, 10.30 am.

South Australia in May. A jazz picnic at Government House. Regular OPAL card trips into the city and beyond. Bus day tours out of the Hills.

For a suburban retirement club, Glenhaven Probus keeps a busy diary.

The group meets at Castle Hill Bowling Club on the second Tuesday of each month at 10.30 am. Activities span the full range of what people actually want to do when they retire: golf, darts, croquet, walking, photography, crafts, book club, garden club, theatre, movies. Speakers come through most meetings — members and outside guests both.

The OPAL card gets a regular workout. So does the bus.

Semi-retirees are as welcome as the fully retired. The club is deliberately broad — the point is that anyone with time and interest in getting out should find something that works. Friendships and a bit of brain exercise are, by the club’s own reckoning, part of what’s on offer alongside the activities.

For details, contact the secretary, Robyn, at [email protected]. Or turn up — second Tuesday, Castle Hill Bowling Club, 10.30 am. No appointment needed.
