The much-loved Kenthurst Preschool Fete is set to return on Saturday 15 November, running from 10am to 3pm at John Benyon Rotary Park, Kenthurst, bringing a day of entertainment, treats, and community connection for families across the area.
Children will be captivated by Jack Sharp’s magical performance at 11am, featuring jaw-dropping tricks, playful surprises, and moments of sheer wonder. Little thrill-seekers can also enjoy the famous GIANT slide, pony rides, carnival games, and a children’s entertainment stage with performances throughout the day.
Creative activities, including face painting and hands-on crafts, will keep kids busy, while a mouth-watering lineup of food trucks, a classic sausage sizzle, and delicious sweet treats ensures everyone stays fuelled. For those with a sweet tooth, the fete will serve up freshly spun fairy floss, movie-style popcorn, and homemade cakes, though early arrival is advised—baked goods are known to sell out fast.
With the festive season approaching, visitors can also browse silent auctions, raffles, and beautifully wrapped gift baskets, perfect for picking up unique gifts for family and friends.

Kenthurst Preschool Director, Leanne Murray, described the fete as a celebration of community spirit.
“Over the years, we’ve faced a few hiccups, including bad weather, but our team always rallies together,” Murray said. “Kenthurst Preschool is a community-run preschool managed by a parent and community committee, which fosters a strong sense of ownership and involvement.”
This year, proceeds from the fete will go towards soundproofing classrooms, enhancing speech and language development, reducing stress, and creating a calmer, more focused environment for students and teachers alike—particularly benefiting those with hearing impairments.
Since 1967, Kenthurst Preschool has operated as a not-for-profit community preschool, offering lower fees and higher staffing levels, with any surplus reinvested into programs for children and families.

Murray expressed her gratitude to the event’s supporters: “We’d like to thank our Major Partner, Rance Property, our Platinum Partner, Flex Contract Logistics, and all our sponsors for their generous support.”
“Rain may have delayed us before, but it never defeated us. Now, with more planning time, we’re bringing out the fun in full force,” Murray said.
Come rain or shine, Kenthurst Preschool Fete is a reminder that a little delay can’t stop a great cause—or a great time.
