Kenthurst Fair

By Kathy Bray
Kenthurst Rotary is pleased to announce that the Kenthurst Fair (under the Orange Blossom Festival banner of the Hills Shire) will be held on Sunday September 11 at John Benyon Rotary Park in Kenthurst.

It is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and we appreciate the community’s support.

As we are no longer able to have sponsor flags on Kenthurst Road, we are having signs made to put around the park. We are looking for sponsors for this event and if you would like to support us, please contact Paul Rapp on 0418 277 409 or [email protected].

We will be having a street parade; if you have a group that would like to be involved or have a vintage car, please contact Rob on 0414 717 766.

We have a few stalls available; a 3m x 3m is $50 and a 6m x3m is $100. To book your spot please call Tony on 0414 294 105 or Peter on 0466 337 079.

Approximately 2,000 people visit throughout the day.

The final piece of equipment was placed in the park recently, namely the CUBBY HOUSE. It has been sadly missed by everyone and its return was met with great enthusiasm. Children couldn’t get inside quickly enough. Our thanks to the Men’s Shed for the repairs and restoration.

We are hoping to get another grant to be able to purchase the shade cloth and finally complete the works.
