We returned to the Hawkesbury area this month, where members had time to enjoy a pleasant stroll through the historic streets of Windsor before meeting for a relaxed lunch at the Macquarie Boathouse Café.
This outing is always a favourite among our members, offering a perfect mix of good food and pleasant surroundings.
At our monthly meeting, following the general reports, we welcomed as our guest speaker, the ever-popular Jim Haynes OAM — Entertainer, Author, Speaker, Broadcaster, Humourist, Historian, and Art Lover. Jim delivered a truly entertaining presentation, sharing a mix of poems, humour, and Australian history. His talk took many of us on a nostalgic journey back to our days growing up in Sydney, with plenty of laughs and fond memories along the way.
Round Corner Dural Probus Club offer a range of activities each month. Meetings are held at the Galston Club on the second Monday of each month at 9.30 am. We look forward to welcoming new members and visitors.
