On Friday 10 May the Harman Foundation hosted a fundraising gala dinner. The Light and Hope Gala Fundraiser is held annually to bring awareness and raise funds for the wonderful mission of the Harman Foundation.
The night featured cultural performances, a live and silent auction, and was catered with exquisite Indian cuisine. The night brought the community together in support of this great community organisation.
The Harman Foundation was founded in 2013 by Maninder Singh and Harinder Kaur after they tragically lost their son, Harman. In their own grief at the loss of their son, they came to discover there was a lack of resources and support organisations available to the community in times of grief and crisis.
They felt compelled to establish their own organisation that could fill the gap that was present in the community. Since then, the Harman Foundation has built a network of valuable community support services such as a 24/7 Telephone Crisis Line, Support Group Meetings, Direct Peer Support, Chaplaincy Services, Bereavement Services, Seniors Support Services, Disabled Support Services, and more.
Thank you to Maninder Singh and Harinder Kaur, co-founders of this necessary community support organisation, for your hard work, dedication, and your vision for the community. Thank you to the committed group of volunteers who offer their services at Harman Foundation.
Congratulations to the team, the directors and contributors, for another successful Light and Hope Gala Fundraiser. “Together, we illuminated paths and sparked hope for a Mark Hodges MP with Harinder Kaur, brighter future.”
