Glenhaven Carols by Candlelight 2024

Glenhaven Carols by Candlelight returns on Sunday 8th December 2024 for its twenty-fourth year transforming Glenhaven Oval into a festive wonderland.

The event has become a fixture of Christmas in Glenhaven, with the oval filling with thousands of residents to celebrate the festive season.

“We are truly grateful for what the Carols event has become and the support the community shows each year. There is excitement building yet again!” said Louise Hedges, of Friends of Glenhaven’s Carols Committee. “We look forward to seeing all the friendly faces.”

“Each year the community comes together on this great night to relax and celebrate. It is a real community event; with our local Glenhaven Rural Fire Service and The Hills SES Unit assisting on the night.

Friends of Glenhaven’s Carols Committee organise the event that also showcases local talent, further promoting a sense of community and “Carnivale” atmosphere with rides, amusements, local performers and a fireworks spectacular.

Up to 4,000 people are expected, and as the limited parking spaces are in great demand, attendees are encouraged to park in neighbouring streets off Glenhaven Rd or walk to the event if possible. Visit the Glenhaven Carols By Candlelight Facebook page for FAQs and further information.

Generous supporters include The Hills Shire Council, Harvey Norman, fireworks sponsor Louis Carr Real Estate, West Pennant Hills Sports Club, Kindalin and Eden Brae Homes. Talented entertainers include Reid the Music, Jenna’s Singing School, Sister 2 Sister School of Singing, NorthWest Wind Ensemble, Castle Hill RSL Youth Wind Orchestra and the Hills District Pipe Band.
