Alyssa Collins was awarded Galston High School Dux of 2022. Alyssa has been accepted to the Australian National University for a Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences. She intends to utilise this degree to work in areas such as data science, astrophysics and geophysics.

Alyssa delivered a reflection on her time at Galston High School during the assembly, a highlight of which included her advice to younger students:

“I’m incredibly proud of what I have achieved and all the people I have met along the way. High school has shaped me as a person, and I am happy with who I am today. I still have big dreams to achieve and much more to learn. Follow the things you’re passionate about, as that will be what will keep you motivated and bring joy into your life.”

Galston High School congratulates all of its High Achievers and looks forward to the success of its 2023 class.
