This four-hour (7.7 km) moderately challenging stroll through Muogamarra Nature Reserve showcases some of Hornsby Shire’s most special bushland.
Set aside for conservation and scientific study, access to this area is restricted to the public through most of the year. The highlights of this walk are two beautiful lookouts, one overlooking the lower Hawkesbury River and the other overlooking a volcanic diatreme and historic grazing lease.
