“The Last Witch” tells the story of Janet Horne, the last person executed for witchcraft in Britain, set in 18th-century Scotland. A protective mother living on the fringes of society, she draws fear and admiration for her mysterious “powers.” As local men, including Captain Ross and the minister, take an interest in her, the line between witch and charlatan blurs as she fights for survival.
